The Dormitory of the Friable Little Girls by Melissa Yi, 6th January 2011
Ready, aim, bleed
This little wisp of a story packs a mighty punch as it takes subtle aim at religion, education, parenting, and death. From the brilliant title to an ending that comes much too soon (just like death itself), this story is packed with clever observations and enticing prose. I hope this writer is planning more stories about these Little Flowers and their big plans.
